Creating a metadata link involves uploading your collection images to a storage provider like web3.storage, Lighthouse.storage, or any other NFT storage provider. For this tutorial, we'll use web3.storage and assume you are already logged in.
1- Click the "Create" button to start a new space for hosting your NFTs
2- Enter a name for your space and then click "Create."
3- Click on "View" to enter the space and prepare for uploading.
1- Ensure your images are in the "jpg" format before uploading.
2- Navigate to the "Directory" tab to upload your collection images. Click on "Browse" to open your computer's folder directory and select the images you want to upload.
3- After selecting your images, you'll receive a prompt asking for approval to upload. Click on "Upload" to complete the process.
4- Once the upload is complete, you'll receive a confirmation link. This link is your images' IPFS link, which holds all the uploaded images.
Click on the "List" tab to get an overview of your CID link. This CID link is crucial as it contains the main data needed for your collection.
2- For the final step, click on the root link to obtain your Metadata CID link.
3- Save the Metadata CID link to a notepad or text file for future use.
Now you have successfully created a metadata link for your NFT collection. This link is essential for managing and accessing your NFT images.
